Ports: Brazil and Europe

Brazil (ANTAQ) and Europe (Eurostat) in separate tabs, each in its own metric. The comparison appears only where it is valid: in the indexed trend.

Filter for the Brazilian side (berthings).
Brazil — ANTAQ. Berthings recorded in the Estatístico Aquaviário, counting every berthing (including inland navigation, support and small vessels). Use the filter to restrict to public ports.

RegionState (UF)Berthings 2025
Europe — Eurostat. Arrivals of vessels of 100 GT and over at the main ports (dataset mar_tf_qm), summed by country (all national ports). Ferry effect: Greece, Italy, Denmark and Croatia lead on ferry traffic, not cargo volume.

Europe — national hubs in 2025
Compare growth only. The sources measure different things, so absolute levels are not comparable. The 2019 = 100 index shows each series against itself, which is legitimate to compare between ANTAQ and Eurostat.
Indexed trend · 2019 = 100
Each line starts at 100 in 2019. Above 100 the series grew, below it shrank. Only the trajectory is comparable across the sources, not the absolute level.
